EARTH WORK

Total Earthwork Executed : 90 Lac Cum
Earthwork in single Work : 17 Lac Cum

The engineering works created through the moving or processing of parts of the earth’s surface involving quantities of soil or unformed rock are called the earthworks. The earthworks involve the movement of the earth to another location and its formation into a desired shape for a purpose.
The disturbance of soil or earth by any means, including excavation (including subsurface), tunneling, drilling, land rehabilitation or restoration, stockpiling, dumping of soil or sand, and the construction/reconstruction of any track, embankment, or drainage channel. The process of earthworks is carried out by the machine excavation and fill or backfill.
Typical earthworks include roads, railway beds, causeways, dams, levees, canals, and berms. Other common earthworks are land grading to reconfigure the topography of a site, or to stabilize slopes.
